Hey Bro, Thanx for the care package. Hey - I like your new CD. You've turned into quite a jazz player. Have you been borrowing some of my licks? Seriously, good stuff, bro.

Patrick, just had to tell you this, A young fellow at work asked if I ever herd of CBGB's, I paused for a moment and then told a nice crowd our adventure there in my old van. I was sitting with the sound man "Barry B" and watching you rock the stage, one of or maybe two strings broke on your Ax and the rest of the band jammed on until you fixed it, the bass player rocked so hard his fingers were bleeding. You never left the stage and than blasted it with an unreal come-back. That was a long time ago, I also told these young cat's that we were at Folk City too. Coop says hello. I started my 25th year and than By-By, I'll talk to you soon- Tommy from------JRZ-------later

Hey Patrick, I don't know if your memory from 30 years ago is all that good, but you may remember hanging out with me (my nickname was 'Merk' and my roommates Chosie Johnson, Jim Reid and John Cooper in our apartment above the Bonhamtown Deli in Edison. I was listening to some Grant Green the other day, and somehow you popped into my mind. Its great to see you made a pretty good career for yourself. I remain a jazz afficionado and I plan on listening to some of your music in the near future. As for me, this past week, I took an early retirement from American Airlines after 20 years. Anyhow, I just thought I'd drop you a line to let you know that ....I knew you 'when'......Take Care, Merk

I really can't believe it. Man, you look great and you sound fantastic!! I still have the "Clouds" cassett you gave me. Think about you all the time. I'm in shock. I'm still in Jersey City. Call me, we have got to get together. Not for the sake of old times, but for the now.

Man, whatever is this thing we call god, I thank him (or her) that you're still playing. This is one of the happiest days of my life.
